STM - GSM

STM Company has been producing reducers since 1976. The Company used internal torque limiter for the first time in worm gear reducer in year 1982.

The Company merged with G.S.M Spa Company, producer of heavy duty reducers, in 2000 and expanded its existing product range.

In 2003, the Company developed SM series orthogonal angled helical gear reducers at the end of R&D studies.

Equipped with 90 degrees outlets, these reducers provides efficiency advantage compared to worm gear reducers with its 90 % efficiency rate and offers price advantage thanks to its smaller dimensions compared to conical helical gear reducers.

It is one of the rare manufacturers having "CTI" (Cooling Technology Institute) certification applicable for STM cooling towers.

Continuing its investments and developments to offer more to its customers, STM Company maintains its production in Reno, Italy with 306 employees on 46000 m2 facility constructed on 70000 m2 area.
